October 2010 was planted around 30000 onions - snowdrops, crocus, hyacinths, daffodils and tulips – as here in the spring of 2011 has created a colorful carpet in the garden, which opened to visitors on 1th of May.

Winter has been used to prepare the summer season. The major initiative is the construction of the new orchard and renovation of the old smithy.

Fruit garden has been planned in collaboration with landscape architect Charlotte Skibsted,
and the garden has been planted with the old kind of fruit trees.

The old smithy has got three functions:
- toilets including disabled toilet
- Information
- lunch room to the Gardens Friends
